Welcome to my Website. My name is Suzan Brandelik and I founded Accounting Bean Tamer, LLC.
I am familiar with Peachtree and Quickbooks accounting software programs across several different clients using the above mentioned accounting software often in conjuction with Microsoft Office Excel and Word while following GAAP ("Generally Accepted Accounting Principles" for those who don't know).
My services can be as needed, by the project, or more regular dependent on your needs which I can help you determine in my free consultation. Some businesses can get by with an Excel spreadsheet, others could use accounting software, some need help to keep up with the information more often than they have time for, and others just need someone reliable ... What are your needs?
Before accounting I worked in different retail environments from sales/support staff to management with the majority spent at The TinderBox, Elder Beerman, and MotoPhoto. My accounting career started after graduating from Sinclair Community College in June 2006 with an Associates degree in Accounting. My GPA averaged 3.9 which was mostly the accounting classes since several courses transferred from a previous Bachelor's degree in Fine Arts from Wright State University.
I realized doing freelance/contract work does not require a CPA and many talented bookkeepers do not have an accounting degree, let alone a CPA (Certified Public Accountant for those who may not know). I created this company when I decided to pursue a freelance contract path in accounting by finding businesses that need part time or temporary help as opposed to a full time accountant.
My accounting responsibilities have included tasks such as:

The following is a recommendation written in 2010 from Schumann Inc. Engineering, a former employer:
Suzan performed well with the relatively broad job requirements inherent in a small company. She learned our accounting system and methods and communicated well with our CPA. She worked independently and took initiative, yet also knew when to ask questions.
Suzan is friendly and got along well with all other company personnel, customers, and suppliers. She was completely trustworthy with the company’s funds and data.

The following is a letter written by one of my Instructors at Sinclair University just before I completed my accounting degree in 2006:
To Whom It May Concern:
It is my pleasure to write a letter of reference for Suzan Brandelik.
I have known Suzan since January 2005, when she first enrolled in one of my accounting courses at Sinclair Community College. Since that time, Suzan has taken a total of four courses from me: Cost Accounting I, Cost Accounting II, Personal Computer Applications in Accounting, and Microcomputer Accounting Systems.
Suzan is an outstanding student. I have observed her in classes that require heavy usage of computers and in very challenging upper level accounting courses. Her performance was always at the top of the class! Suzan is a dedicated, hard working student who put in the time and effort to make sure she thoroughly mastered course concepts. She was always punctual, always prepared, and the end result was that she always excelled. Suzan is very comfortable working with computers and has demonstrated a solid understanding of Excel and Peachtree software.
I was so pleased with Suzan’s performance that I nominated her to receive an award from the Institute of Management Accountants as Sinclair’s outstanding student for 2006. Suzan easily won the vote of the faculty at Sinclair and received this award.
I have also had numerous interactions with Suzan outside of class. She has a pleasant personality. I noticed that she relates well to her peers and is comfortable working in groups. I believe Suzan will be a valued employee and a team player in any organization she joins.
Sincerely,
Donna Chadwick,
Professor of Accounting
